John B. Moore, 70, of Pilgrim, Ky., died Monday, Oct. 31, 1988, in Humana Hospital in Louisa. Born June 2, 1918 in McClure, Ky., he was preceded in death by his parents, Flem and Rebecca (Taylor) Moore; a son and a daughter. A member of the Old Zion Association, he was a World War II army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Grace (Smith) Moore; two sons, Jonathan David Moore of Pilgrim, and Roger Preece of Colorado; four daughters, Bonnie Charles of Lexington, Ky., Debbie Endicott of Louisa, Wilman Pauley of Earlington, Ky., and Anna Stepp of Lovely, Ky.; four brothers, Vernon Moore of Dingess, Thurman and Ellis Moore of Inez, Ky. and Flem Moore Jr. of Lucasville, Ohio; six sisters, Pearlie Fletcher of Beauty, Gertie Smith of Inez, Geneva Starver, Frankie Harmon and Oretha Rose of Columbus, Ohio and Cora May Conley of Volga, Ky.; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 3, 1988, in the Inez Chapel of Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home with Prentice Meade and Homer Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. tonight and Wdnesday. Special services are planned tonight and Wednesday at 7 p.m.
